Who is Claire for?

Claire is designed for families caring for aging parents or grandparents, especially when they cannot be physically present every day. The older adult uses Claire for daily support, while family members receive clear updates that help them stay informed.

How do we set up Claire as a family?

Install Claire on both the family member’s phone and your loved one’s phone, then connect both phones using a one-time pairing code. Once paired, Claire can check in with your loved one, support their daily care routine, and share relevant summaries and updates with approved family members.

What does Claire do?

Claire checks in through natural voice conversations, helps record symptoms and medication routines, and brings together relevant health and activity signals. She turns this information into clear summaries and meaningful alerts for the family.

What does voice-first mean?

Voice-first means your loved one can use Claire simply by talking. They can share how they feel, record a symptom, ask about their medication routine, or request help without needing to type or navigate through multiple screens.

Is Claire easy to use?

Yes. Claire is designed around conversation rather than complicated menus. Your loved one can speak to Claire naturally, just like talking to another person, while the app provides large controls and simple screens only when they are needed. Family members can also help with the initial setup.

What does the family see?

Family members can see daily summaries, medication updates, health trends, symptoms, and meaningful changes that may need attention. Claire presents the most important information clearly so families do not have to interpret raw health data themselves.

Can I share Claire with other family members?

Yes. You can invite trusted family members or caregivers so everyone can stay informed and coordinate care together.

Do I need new hardware?

No. Claire works with the phone your loved one already has and can connect with supported wearables and health platforms they may already use.

What languages does Claire speak?

Claire currently supports English and Chinese. More languages are planned, including local languages such as Taiwanese (台語), so older adults can speak in the language they are most comfortable using.

What happens if Claire notices something unusual?

Claire explains what changed and helps the family understand whether they may need to check in. Depending on the situation, Claire may suggest contacting the older adult, asking someone nearby to help, or seeking appropriate professional support.

Is my family’s health information private?

Privacy is a core part of Claire. Health information is protected and only made available to approved family members or caregivers.

Is Claire a medical device?

No. Claire is a care companion for family awareness, wellness support, and care coordination. She does not diagnose conditions or replace doctors, caregivers, or emergency services.
